So, i started college last week and in preparation i, of course, spent hours searching for the perfect bag. I wanted to go for a traditional 'old style' satchel, preferably a vintage one, but after browsing the internet for just a few minutes, i found that this was actually a more difficult task than it sounds, because the whole internet is packed to the brim with brand new 'vintage' items! I'm not sure how you feel about this but personally, i think it's such an unfair use of the term. With that said, i did have to settle for a new bag in the end, fashioned around the old style satchels - which i have no problem with, it's just the labelling of them as 'vintage' that i do have an issue with!
Here is the satchel i ended up with;
I have to say, i am chuffed to bits with it and i've even had several comments about it, as well as requests on where people can buy these beauties...my confession is - it's from ebay! Not sure how you all feel about eBay but personally, i think it's fantastic; especially for vintage items at an affordable cost (or not so vintage in this case!)

In love with a tea dress!
Browsing through lovemissdaisy.com, i came accross this lovely vintage burgandy shift dress from the 60's; i have to say it is definitely love at first sight! Perhaps a bit of a splurge at £39: unfortunately a splurge i cannot afford to fullfill, but there's no harm in looking just to pick out lovely items! I can picture it now with some cream wooly tights and tan brogues...lovely!

Bank holiday weekend and a half!
Much to my joy, my bank holiday weekend has consisted purely of partying! Saturday afternoon found me at my mum's friends garden party where i ate FAR TOO MANY beautifully decorated cupcakes! I also left with some additional decoration on my dress, courtesy of one very hyperactive baby who took it upon himself to projectile vomit all over me. Lovely! One of my oldest friends Sophie turns sweet 16 on Tuesday which called for a house party on Saturday night followed by a sleepover (or lack of!); truly amazing night! It'll probably be the last time we have a mass gathering like that as everybody is soon heading off to their seperate colleges and will no doubt fall into new groups of friends! :(
Sunday night saw me at my friend Cameron's campout; he lives on a farm which can bear a very close resemblance to a campsite when you remove the animals from the equation. I have to say, i tent-hopped all night and finally caught about an hours sleep at around 5am. Furthermore, i still have no idea what occasion called for said campout, but i shall not complain!
As for today, well, lets just call it recovery day! If i had to guess, i'd say i've had approxomately 6 hours sleep in the last 56? But that's what being young is about surely?!
Here is a photograph which was taken accidentally in the middle of a horse-poo-filled-field at around 3am, but i have to say i love it!
I absolutely adore this jumper and live in it most of the time! It's quite a recent purchase from ASOS marketplace; vintage of course!

The Very First Post!
Welcome to my humble blog! I'm not quite sure where this is going to lead but my life is so hectic, yet so fabulous at the minute, I decided I wanted to document it, if for no other reason than to look back in years to come and wonder in amazement how I managed to fit sleep into my day as a teen!
A Little Bit About Myself
I am a 16 year old girl, living in the North of England currently, a small town named Scunthorpe to be specific. My hometown is the exact reason why my ambitions to travel are so large - it's such a dismal place!
I have just finished school and i'm now nearing the end of my crazy summer before becoming an official college student - eep!
I have so many passions and so many emotions it's unreal at times, i love love love all forms of dance but in particular ballet, tap and modern theatre hold a special place in my heart. Travel is also a large passion of mine - be it an 11 hour flight to America or a 2 hour bus journey to Blackpool, travel is such an inspiration to me and it is something i hope to persue in its entirety throughout my life. Vintage fashion is also something that is important to me, i love nothing more than to find a bargain one-off vintage item! My final love is music. Who doesn't love music? It never fails to amaze me just how powerful music can be - in times of despair, music lifts you up, in times of happiness; music preserves the moment and engraves it to your memories, only to be revisited upon hearing that song. Amazing!
Anyway, i think i have babbled on enough for my first post, this is a quick taste of what you may find featured here on my blog - a bit of everything really! Thank you for reading!
